Ralph Hutchins is a British, Writer and Director. He spent seven years making short films before working on two commissioned and funded projects in the summers of 2021 and 2022, called "The Kickabout" and "Bonfires", which focuses on a strong message but still entertains audiences.
Along with other accolades, Ralph was recently nominated for Ireland's Young Filmmaker Of The Year in the International Category of 2023. With his work being broadcasted across television stations throughout the UK.
His latest project is "Scrutiny of Friendship" (S.O.F), which is set in rural England, when during the peak of summer, two best friends go on a walk through the countryside, but beneath the serene landscape lies a simmering tension, as one of them harbours a secret that will change everything.
Whilst creating entertaining and gripping films, Ralph advocates for the importance of protecting rural areas and talking about men's mental health with the struggles that young boy's go through.
Ralph now currently resides between the UK and the US.
